Class and Coffee Mantra:

With enough caffeine, you can learn to do anything.

This blog all started with a resolution. My 2009 New Year's Resolution: Use my new life as an opportunity to start making more time for fun hobbies. As a new grad student, aspiring cook, novice knitter and 20's something girlfriend to a great guy... I felt like it was a year for learning. It was a big new year's resolution-- and I basically made it until about October '09. Then, with Grad school and the rest of life hanging in he balance, I had to take a break from the blog world.

As of January 2010, I'm ready to try again. I've learned a lot since last year-- never enough to be called an expert-- and I can't wait to learn more.

The only thing I'm really sure of is that, as the new girl in all areas, this should continue to be a hilarious ride.

@ class.and.coffee,
you'll read about...

More about grad classes at NC State, being a TA, and being that dorky girl who always gets excited for the first day of school As of 2010, I've been a "new cook" for a year now. I now know the difference between baking powder and baking soda, I know what broil means, and I've even got my own set of measuring spoons. This blog started as a New Year's resolution; I had no idea how much I would love it! It's been a way to keep in touch with family, track my progress on different hobbies, and blah blah about life as a 20 something. Plus, you get to hear so many amazing stories from others :) So I started knitting in the summer of 2008 after my Mom taught me how; hoping to show off a couple finished projects here and learn some new tricks as well!
